Discovery Call
One of the first steps on the journey of Charisma Consulting is the discovery call. This is an opportunity to really dig deep into the problems you or the organization have. This is a very informal stage which is based around discussion to really get to the nitty-gritty of the issues. Your consultant will look to learn as much about you as possible, so it’s best to share as much as you can so that they have all the facts about your situation. It is also an opportunity for you to speak to the consultant to find out more about their consulting style, clients they have helped in the past, and any queries you may have. The discovery call is free, as the purpose of it is to learn more about your circumstances. At the end of that call, you will find that the consultant will have an idea of the areas of improvement that are required when it comes to charisma which leads us onto our next step in the process.
Assessment and Development Plan
Based on your feedback from the discovery call, your charisma consultant will outline the main areas of weakness and put together a learning and development plan for you. These will cover a range of topics such as communication, rapport building, engaging in small talk, initiating conversations, understanding personality, emotional intelligence, etc. Along with this, the consultant will include strategies that will increase your skill set such as activities, role-play sessions, professional development challenges, and feedback sessions all designed to improve your charisma and people skills.
Consulting Sessions
There will be ongoing consulting sessions that will each cover the area of weakness you are having. Each session will last 1 hour each week and will be delivered online or in person. During these sessions, you will find they are structured with each week learning a new skill and honing techniques you have learned in the previous session. There are programs to suit each individual; however, the most common length is for a 3-month period.
Homework and Accountability
Each week the client will be assigned ‘homework’ which will look to enhance the skills, theory, and techniques that have been learned through each consulting session. This is to complement the work that they have done during the consulting session.
